• The ConvaTec 839002 Eakin Cohesive Seal is a small, 2-inch (48mm) diameter moldable hydrocolloid barrier ring designed to prevent leakage and protect the skin around a stoma (peristomal skin). It is a highly absorbent and flexible ring that can be stretched, rolled, or molded into various shapes to fill in uneven skin surfaces, dips, and crevices around the stoma. This creates a secure, customized seal that helps to prevent ostomy output from reaching and irritating the skin, thus reducing redness and soreness.
